Montana Decoy Eichler Elk
When noted hunter, outfitter and writer Fred Eichler wants a decoy, he reaches for a Montana Decoy. As a matter of fact, he likes them so much he worked hand-in-hand to design his signature elk decoy: the Eichler Elk. It incorporates a string hanging system that is faster than the leg poles and allows you to hang the decoy from brush or tree limbs. His pose of choice is a head up decoy and it has to look real. Built using an actual elk photo, the Eichler Elk is realistic, portable and easy to use. It also comes with a DVD showcasing elk hunts using decoys, as well as Fred explaining exactly how and why he uses his decoy. Weighing in at a lightweight 40 oz with leg poles and folding down to 19” X 12,” the Eichler Elk is easy to pack and a great tool for any phase of the elk season.

Founded in 1996 by Jerry McPherson, Montana Decoy is a designer and manufacturer of big game, turkey, whitetail, and predator decoys. Montana Decoy's goal is to design and develop decoys that give hunters the edge in the field, no matter the game they are after.
Acquired by Flint Holdings, LLC in April 2012, Montana Decoy continues to produce the most innovative decoys on the market. With McPherson dedicated to developing new models of decoys year in and year out, Montana Decoy isn't looking to slow down any time soon.
