Otis was born in 1985 when our founder, a 16-year-old Doreen Garrett, fell into cold mud while deer hunting with her father. The barrel of her grandfather’s Model 94 Winchester was full of mud and the days hunt was over.
Sometimes when you fall, you stumble upon something you didn’t see before, something you were meant to find. That day sparked the beginning of an endeavor to create a smarter solution to a problem every hunter, soldier, shooter, and firearm owner has encountered. On that day, Doreen had a vision for innovating gun care. That is where we began, in the mud, pulled down by our roots to reveal a tireless drive to create a quality, American-made product that will serve the men and women that depend on their firearms to feed their families and protect our country. Now, it is our uncompromising purpose and the big picture reason why we show up to work every day.

Shipping Policy
Due to increased demand, orders will ship 2-3 weeks after order placed and payment is received. Standard shipping within the continental U.S. is a $5 flat rate. Orders of $99 or more receive free standard shipping (within the continental U.S. only). Caliber members of $49 or more receive free standard shipping (within the continental U.S. only). Shipping for orders outside the continental U.S. will be calculated based on current rates.
Return Policy
Decided you already have enough gun cleaning gear (although, is that really a thing?!) and need to return something? Please contact us at 1-800-OTISGUN (684-7486) or cs@otistec.com. We’ll get you squared away with a return authorization number. Ship the product back to us (you pay shipping) and as soon as it’s received, we’ll issue you a refund to the original payment method used.
Got a warranty issue with one of our products? Delivering quality products and taking care of our customers are top priorities at Otis Technology. That’s why our products are backed by our No Nonsense Warranty. If for whatever reason, and we mean whatever – broken part, missing part, manufacturer’s defect, you name it - you are dissatisfied, we’ll take care of it, either by replacing the item or issuing a refund. It’s that simple.
We politely ask you send the product back or provide pictures, as this helps improve our quality process and ensure our products are meeting the strictest standards.
We do want to mention that some items just aren’t covered under our No Nonsense Warranty. Before you start to think this might be nonsense, let us explain. Brushes will wear out over time; patches will get dirty and need to be replaced, etc. These aren’t covered, unless there’s a manufacturer’s defect.
