Since 1989, Santa Fe Trail Outfitters (dba Safe and Sound Consultants, LLC) has specialized in sales of self-defense and shooting sports equipment for the enthusiast. We specialize in web sales and feature a full line, including guns, gun accessories, hunting products, and self-defense products.

We are a Class I licensed federal firearms dealer and ship our products nationwide. We pride ourselves on our personal level of customer service and would like to welcome you as a customer.

Gunsmithing:  We carry do-it-yourself gunsmithing products like barrels, stocks, AR-15 parts, and gunsmithing tools. We perform gunsmithing services such as installing AR-15 lower parts, sights, barrels, scopes with scope leveling, and sling swivels. We perform gun cleaning for a nominal fee.

Transfers: While we strive to be competitive on price, sometimes our customers find a gun at a price they can't resist and need to transfer the gun to a local FFL for pickup. Maybe you've won a gun on an auction site. We will be happy to handle your gun transfer for a nominal fee of $25.00. Like any business, we have costs associated with doing business, like FFL renewal fees, city occupational permit fees, and office overhead. The transfer fee helps with those costs, plus compensates us for our time in handling the shipment, checking it in, and conducting your background check.
