Established in 1998, Summit Coffee Co. is a Certified Organic, specialty coffee company and roaster based in Davidson, NC. Summit has over 20 years of cafe experience starting with our flagship Basecamp cafe on Davidson’s Main Street. After 15+ years in the coffee game, we began roasting our own beans in 2015 in effort toward encouraging total transparency all the way from the crop to the cup. Just 5 years later, Summit’s Roastery was awarded best coffee roaster in the South at the 2020 Charleston Coffee Cup.

For Summit, great coffee begins with great relationships. Our coffee team travels around the world every few months to find and revisit coffee producers, working with the same farmers and cooperatives year after year. We source more than half of our coffee from existing relationships, trying to invest into the people and coffee we’ve worked with since opening our roastery in 2015. We value fresh harvest coffee, from small-lot producers that support their local communities, and Summit pays a premium to bring great, responsibly grown coffee to our customers.
